What does participation entail?

With the NAR, we aim to track children and adults with autism over time. This means that if you register, you will be invited once a year to complete an annual questionnaire. You can decide each time whether you want to participate.

What does participation entail?

You apply to the NAR by filling in a form: the application form. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. After you register, you will receive an e-mail with a link to an online questionnaire. It contains questions about yourself, your family, autism, diagnosis, treatment, school, work, living and leisure. Filling it in takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you complete the form and questionnaire, we will add you as a participant. You will then receive our annual questionnaire every year.

Additional surveys

Sometimes we ask you to take part in additional, smaller surveys. This could be a questionnaire, an interview or an online task. You decide for each survey whether you want to participate.

Compare scores

Every year, participants who took part receive an overview of your answers. You can compare your scores with the average of all NAR participants and people of your age and gender. We call this personal feedback. Learn more about the personal overview.
