NAR figures can be found in our reports and fact sheets and are accessible to a wide audience through this website.
Reports and fact sheets
Each year, participants complete an online questionnaire. In it, they tell how they, the person with autism or their autistic child are doing. We use this data for scientific research and to stand up for the interests of people with autism. After each online questionnaire, a report is written with the most important results. In this way, NAR figures are made accessible to a wide audience. Journalists, policy makers, researchers and anyone who wants to know more about people with autism in the Netherlands can use this information. You can find the fact sheets and reports on our website.
In addition to the reports and fact sheets, the figures are also used for several articles in Autisme Magazine (formerly: Engagement with Autism). This is the magazine of the Dutch Autism Association (NVA). Every three months, part of the results are covered in detail in a full-page article. In such an article we combine the results with new scientific insights and recent developments in practice. These articles and other media articles can be read on our website.
In addition to Autism Magazine, data from the NAR are also used for other studies. All scientific publications in which data collected by the NAR have been used can also be found on our website.
