We store personal data from the moment someone completes the registration form on the website. If someone does not complete the registration (does not complete the questionnaire), this data is deleted after a maximum of 365 days.
Retained for long-term research
When enrollment is completed, we keep the personal data for 10 years after the end of the Netherlands Autism Register. Even after deregistration, the personal data are kept because it is a long-term (longitudinal) study. The data are needed to compare with new registrations, this way we prevent people from registering twice.
Upon request, we can remove personal information (name and e-mail address) from our database after unsubscribing. Data collected through questionnaires will remain available for research purposes. If you wish to have data removed, please contact us at info@nederlandsautismeregister.nl.
