Personal overview

What does autism look like in you, compared to other people with autism?

Compare scores

After each measurement, a portion of the results are personally fed back to participants. In this unique, personalized overview, you can compare your scores with the average score of all NAR participants and those of participants of the same gender and of similar age. This provides unique insight into your or your child's personal profile. In past years, NAR participants have received a survey on autistic characteristics, sensory stimulus processing, special interests and satisfaction in various areas of life, among others.

Note: Our questionnaires are not enough to determine with certainty a condition or disorder. Your scores only say something about yourself in comparison to other NAR participants, so your score is never a diagnosis. If you have any concerns based on the personal summary, we recommend that you contact your physician.

Each year, NAR participants receive an online questionnaire in which we ask them for information about themselves and their current living situation. Additional topics are also asked each year. Which topics these are varies from measurement to measurement. As a result, the content of the personal overview differs for each measurement.

The personal overview can also be saved as a pdf file. By pressing the 'print' button in the link with the personal overview and then selecting the option 'save as pdf' when selecting a printer, the feedback can be saved as a pdf file.

Longitudinal review 10-year NAR

For the 10-year anniversary of the NAR in 2023, active participants were given a longitudinal survey in which they got their scores from the past 10 years in one overview.

An example of such a longitudinal personal summary can be found here.

In this unique, personalised overview, you can compare your scores with the average score of all NAR participants.
