What's in it for you?
As a participant, you will receive a personal summary each year after completing the questionnaire. You will see your answers compared to those of other participants of your age and gender. This will give you insight into how you are doing in areas such as health, work, social contacts and well-being. You will also receive regular updates on the latest research and results from the NAR.
You will not receive any compensation for participating in the NAR and the annual questionnaires. For additional projects, we always look at how much time and effort it takes. Sometimes we do provide compensation.
What's in it for us?
Your participation helps us as researchers. This way, we get a good picture of what life is like for people with autism. For example, we study how care, education and work contribute to quality of life. With this, we can learn how to make support better.
What's in it for others?
The results from the NAR help to better understand autism. We share the findings with policymakers, care providers and other researchers. This is how we ensure that the voices of people with autism are heard. Together, we work towards better care, policy and support.
